If not, you can get by with the more compact nature of the 220t.Ĭable management is easier for the 5000 mainly due to 3 things: the afformentioned larger case dimensions allowing more space to stuff cables, the cable tunnel in the back chamber giving more options to rout cables, and the addition of a door that goes between the back panel and the back chamber which straight up covers loose cables, giving you the flexibility to be a bit messier with your cables since it's all covered anyway. ![]() The 5000 is indeed larger than the 220t, but do you actually need the extra space that it offers? Are you going with big, beefy components that actually demand a larger space to work with (larger gpus, custom water loops, >=360 rads)? 5000 offers that space. I own the 5000d (everything the same as 5000x except for different side panels) and it's a wonderful case that I don't think anyone would regret owning.īut you also have to think about what you need from your case. Ideally I'd like to run games like Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed and The Division 2 on max graphics settings If you have any recommendations on alternatives to the GPU I have picked out, please let me know as I reckon I'll be waiting to complete my build for quite a while with the current lack of stock. Additional Storage - Samsung 860 EVO 1TB.GPU - MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (hopefully they will be available again some day!).Cooler - NZXT KRAKEN Z53 240mm (not sure if I actually need this.).RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x 16 GB) DDR4 3600MHz.Motherboard - ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero.I haven't got a PC hardware store anywhere near where I live unfortunately, so I can't go and look these cases. But also the 220T looks just as fine from on the vids and photos I've seen! I definitely prefer the look of the 220T, but I've heard the 5000x is by far the better case in terms of cable management, durability, space etc. I've picked out all the parts I think I want, but for the PC case I'm really torn between the Corsair iCue 220T RGB and the iCue 5000x RGB. So I'm about to start buying parts for my very first ever PC build!
